4 Ways to Increase Productivity on Social Media

I don't know who needs to hear this, but you don't have to spend all day on social media to get it right.

Despite what many people think, my time on social media is very limited. But that wasn't always the case, especially in my first few years of business.

Learn from my mistakes. I wish I started doing these things much earlier in my business journey.

  1. Create a content calendar. Start by identifying your content buckets. Will your content be educational, informative, inspirational or entertaining? Creating these buckets helps to keep your content consistent.

  2. Get organized. Organize your images and keep them in a central location. This will eliminate hours of wasted time of hunting for images to post. Archive high performing content to use again in the future.

  3. Content batching. Schedule dedicated time for you to write content, in one sitting. This method not only increases productivity, but also helps create cohesive and comprehensive content.

  4. Schedule Everything. Schedule time for creating, posting and interacting on social media. Automate your posts using a social media scheduling platform.

  5. Outsource tasks that are taking up too much of your time. It’s important to know when to delegate.

Your time is valuable. Learn to work smarter, not harder.
